Mega-Strong , Stronger than yesterday! 365 journey to a healthier me.
The name Mega-Strong was inspired by my name Megan (get it ) and realizing I am one strong momma for raising a toddler for the past year.
I have started to enjoy the way I feel after a workout and I would love to be able to share the same joy with all of you, helping you become a healthier/confident, stronger you!
This group was created to spread love, motivation, and support to one another. My goal for 2021 is to do 1 workout every single day for 365 days. I want to make you all proud by accomplishing this goal so please follow me on my 365 Journey to a healthier me.
The South African Porphyria Foundation (SAPF)
The South African Porphyria Foundation was founded by Aletta Longari, Karen van Zijl and Carol-Lynn Croker in June 2021. A new Non Profit organisation founded by patients for patients, we realised that there was a need to set up a formal patient support NPO to educate and created awareness within South Africa and Internationally about the genetic South African Porphyria Variegate mutation.
Variegate Porphyria (South African Porphyria) is the most common type of Porphyria in South Africa. DNA testing has identified the most common gene mutation in the country is the R59W gene. There are other Acute Porphyrias in SA, however VP is the most predominant, however our Foundation supports and represents all Porphyria.
